Dominik Hangartner
Dominik Hangartner ist Professor für Politikanalyse und Co-Direktor des externe Seite Immigration Policy Lab.
Dominik Hangartner erhielt 2011 seine Promotion in Sozialwissenschaften von der Universität Bern. Im selben Jahr wechselte er als Assistenzprofessor an die London School of Economics, wo er 2013 zum ordentlichen Associate Professor ernannt wurde. Seit 2017 ist er an der ETH Zürich tätig, wo er Ende 2020 zum ordentlichen Professor ernannt wurde.
Dominik untersucht die Effekte von Migrations-Policies und politischen Institutionen mittels Feldforschung und Statistik. Seine Forschungsbeiträge wurden in führenden Wissenschaftsmagazinen wie American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, und Science publiziert. Für seine Arbeit erhielt er mehrere Auszeichnungen, darunter den externe Seite Philip-Leverhulme-Prize und den externe Seite Nationalen Latsis Preis und einen ERC Starting Grant.
