Francesca Codega is a Pre-Doc at the Public Policy Group and Immigration Policy Lab.
She has a BSc and a MSc in Economics from the University of Geneva and participated in an exchange program at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She focused her studies in Econometrics, Impact Evaluation and Machine Learning. During her Master’s thesis and research assistanceship she focused on anticipatory actions and disaster displacement in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Francesca worked as a data analyst at the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) at the HQ in Geneva, supporting the Global Route-Based Migration Programme, and for the Ukraine and Impacted Countries Operation. She volunteered in different programs supporting immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Lebanon and Switzerland.
