Gabriela is a Junior Quantitative Analyst at the Public Policy Group and Immigration Policy Lab, where she works on projects related to job-matching recommendation systems and improving labor market access for refugees.

She is completing a Master of Economics degree at the University of St. Gallen and previously obtained an MA in Political Science from the University of Zurich. Her MA thesis applied causal inference methods to examine changes in the economic policy agenda of radical right wing parties in Western Europe. She received her BA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests currently lie in global economics, immigration, and labor policy. Prior to joining the IPL, Gabriela worked as a research assistant at the HSG and completed a parliamentary fellowship with the German Bundestag in Berlin.
