Philip joined the Public Policy Group in February 2021 and is the Executive Director of the Zurich branch of the Immigration Policy Lab, where he oversees the strategic vision and impact strategy and collaborates on research projects related to migration.

After starting his professional career as a postdoc at McGill University’s Mathematics and Statistics Department, he gathered private sector experience at a Swiss technology and management consultancy. Prior to joining the Public Policy Group, Philip worked as as senior researcher and lecturer at the Chair of Negotiation and Conflict Management at ETH Zurich.

He holds a Diploma in Physics, a PhD in Mathematical Physics, a Swiss High School Teaching Diploma and a CAS in Public Governance and Administration from ETH Zurich.
